To send money:

  1. You must fill out the 'Money Sending' form available at the locations servicing Western Union transfers.

  2. Deposit the amount of the transfer along with the transfer fee (according to the Western Union Fee Table).
  3. On the form, the sender must provide:
    • the amount and currency of the transfer,
    • the name and surname of the sender and the receiver,
    • the country and town of destination.
  4. After making the payment, the sender must notify the Recipient, e.g., by phone, about the transfer. The money will be available at any Western Union agency within several minutes of sending the transfer.

 

To receive money:

  1. Upon receiving notification from the sender about the money being sent via the Western Union network, the receiver should report to a location servicing Western Union transfers.

  2. The recipient fills out a 'Withdrawal' form and presents it to the staff along with an identity document. The form must state:
    • the amount and currency of the transfer,
    • the name and surname of the sender,
    • the country, city of transfer initiation,
    • MTCN number (10-digit individual number assigned to each transaction).
  3. To acknowledge receipt of the money.
    The Cooperative Bank in Szczytno also facilitates internet transfers in cooperation with ONE MONEY MAIL LIMITED (Picasso).
