PSD2

Welcome to the Cooperative Bank in Szczytno. We hope your visit is the beginning of fruitful cooperation and more benefits for our Clients.

The PSD2 directive opens the era of open banking – introducing regulations stemming from the development of payment services, allowing the utilization of the dynamics of technological development in the field of electronic and mobile payments. It also provides the opportunity to create innovative financial products. This is made possible by the introduction of a new type of independent service providers in the payment services market defined as third-party providers (Third Party Provider). These entities, acting on behalf of the Client, will offer new services based on information obtained from electronic banking systems.

If you are a TPP representative preparing to introduce new services for our Clients – we invite you to cooperate.

1. SPECIAL INTERFACE DOCUMENTATION

In accordance with the requirements of the PSD2 directive, we have prepared a special interface that allows access to payment accounts, verification of fund availability, and initiation of transactions by authorized TPP entities.

The chosen standard of the interface is PolishAPI version 2.1.1.

1.1. Summary of the technical documentation of the special interface

Introduction

We present to you the API interface created in accordance with the Payment Services Directive (PSD2), aimed at providing a secure and easy-to-use set of financial services made available by the Bank. The presented interface complies with the PolishAPI standard developed by the Polish Bank Association for the purpose of implementing the PSD2 directive in Poland.

The API interface has been built according to the latest technological standards using REST, OAuth2, JSON mechanisms and secure electronic signature eIDAS. The interface provides a set of services for authentication, authorization, and consent management.

The implementation includes services from the domain of:

  • AIS (Account Information Service) – a set of services providing information about the Client's accounts,
  • PIS (Payment Initiation Service) – services enabling the initiation of payments,
  • CAF (Confirmation of the Availability of Funds) – services for confirming the availability of the amount necessary to carry out a payment transaction on the Payer's payment account.

The interface is made available to all certified TPPs (Third Party Providers) – entities authorized to access financial services based on consents issued by the Client.
