SwatchPAY!
SwatchPAY! is the simplest way to make secure contactless payments. A flick of your wrist transforms your watch into a mobile payment method that you can use anywhere, anytime.
Customers can register their cards on devices: Google, Apple, Fitbit, Garmin, and Xiaomi.
Since December 1, 2023, the option to register your card using watches has also been added: Swatch - for Visa and Mastercard cards
How it works – SwatchPAY!
Selected Swatch watch models are equipped with a module that allows them to store tokenized card data. There are three methods to link a card to the watch:
- The first method is self-activation of payments. For this, you need to use or download the SwatchPay! by wearonize app on your phone, which connects to the watch through the phone's NFC module and saves the relevant tokenized card information on the watch. The app is available in the App Store and Google Play.
- The second method is to activate payments at an authorized Swatch store. In this case, you need to visit a physical Swatch store, request to register your card with the service, and save the tokenized card in the watch's memory. The store staff will guide you through the entire process.
- The last method is to add your payment card to the service at the time of purchasing the watch from an authorized online Swatch store. During the purchase process, you need to select the option to activate payments with the watch and follow the instructions. Swatch watches are analog, thus do not require entering a PIN on the dial, and transactions are confirmed at the payment terminal, just like with cards and contactless transactions.
