Mobile contactless payments using the Xiaomi band are possible after adding your payment card to the digital wallet. This allows you to use the same payment cards that you use daily.

How to start using Xiaomi Pay?

    1. Purchase Mi Smart Band 6 NFC at your favorite store
    2. Download the Mi Fitness app from the App Store or Google and activate your Mi account [select country]
    3. Activate Mi Smart Band 6 NFC using the Mi Fitness app
    4. Select Mi Smart Band 6 NFC in the devices section.
    5. Go to the "Payment Card" tab and enter your Mastercard details.
    6. Confirm activation with a text message code

The Xiaomi Pay service protects data by using assigned card numbers and transaction codes every time you make a payment. The original card number is replaced with a digital substitute known as a token. The card number is not stored on the device or on Xiaomi's servers. It is also not passed to the merchant during payment, allowing you to pay without worries.

The Xiaomi Pay service protects user data. Therefore, the number of your physical card is not stored in the band/watch or on the service provider’s servers. It is also not passed to the merchant during payments.
