Individual Retirement Security Account – POL-IKZE is a savings account intended for voluntary accumulation of funds for additional retirement.
Benefits of IKZE:
- tax relief (PIT) – contributions to POL-IKZE made in a given tax year can be deducted from the taxable base in the PIT declaration;
- no “Belka tax” - accumulating funds without capital gains tax;
- 0 PLN for opening and maintaining the account,
- freedom to choose the time to start saving (it is important to make contributions for at least 5 arbitrary years),
- flexibility of the amount and frequency of contributions within the annual limit*,
- full access to accumulated funds at any time while saving,
- inheritance of funds – no inheritance and donation tax;
- security of accumulated funds – guarantee from the Banking Guarantee Fund
Contribution limits in 2024
- 14,083.20 PLN for persons conducting non-agricultural business activities (1.8 times the average projected monthly wage in the national economy for a given year);
- 9,388.80 PLN for persons not conducting non-agricultural business activities (1.2 times the average projected monthly wage in the national economy for a given year)
Who is POL-IKZE for:
- The agreement to open and maintain POL-IKZE can be concluded by any individual who is at least 16 years old.
- The holder of the POL-IKZE account can be only one person.
Conditions for opening POL-IKZE:
- Submitting an application to open a POL-IKZE account.
- Submitting a declaration of not accumulating funds in IKZE in another financial institution or about the funds accumulated in IKZE in another financial institution, providing the name of that institution and confirming that a transfer payment will be made.
- In the case of holding IKZE – submitting a declaration that the Client will make a transfer payment while also providing the name of the financial institution.
